Born Annoying existed in various forms between 2000 and 2005. Due to underwhelming public demand, it was resurrected in late 2009.
The site is designed and operated by me, Glynn Davies. I also run Helmet’s official website. The site is powered by WordPress, uses certain elements of the Easy framework and is hosted rather nicely by DreamHost.

Born Annoying would be nothing, zero, nada, and possibly even zip without the following cool people. My thanks to (in no special order):
Aidan Rantoul for originally obtaining the domain (and subsequently becoming a good friend); Eric, keeper of the original helmet.org website, without the absence of which this site would never have existed and my life would have been much less interesting; Paul Dalen, David Whitehead and Caroline Alonzo at Maine Road Management for allowing me to do the official website and perpetrating innumerable acts of incredible generosity; all of the ardent fans who’ve populated the various Helmet related discussion forums over the years, and especially the ones who read, supported and made a success of this website back in the day; Brian Herb and the rest of Helmet’s touring crew over the years for being kind enough to let me hang around while they work; and of course Page Hamilton, Dan Beeman, Kyle Stevenson, Jon Fuller, Chris Traynor, Anthony Truglio, John Tempesta, Jeremy Chatelaine and Frank Bello, who’ve all, during their tenures with the band, been gracious enough to indulge my fanboyism, share their food and drink with me and generally be nice guys.
